The Premier On-Campus Experience

Chairbacks Only

Papa John's Cardinal Stadium, the home of Louisville football, is widely considered one of the premier, on-campus college football stadiums in the country following its expansion in 2009. Fans are treated to a one-of-a-kind feature with all 55,000 seats being of the chairback variety. No other university-owned and operated stadium in the nation can make that claim.

With the addition of 200 chairback seats, the seating capacity of Dan Ulmer Stadium is now 1,000. The project also added a 2,380 square foot fan terrace, as well as a new press box that doubles the size of the previous space. Capital Projects
